Our chapter of NYTRO
(New York Trail Riders Organization) was created in
October of 1999 with the goals of offering members
places to ride including in state and out of state
riding excursions (adventurous rides to Vermont and West
Virginia for example), opportunities to make new riding
friends, and to have a voice in the legislative process
concerning off-road interests. We hold monthly
meetings with club members and potential members to plan
scheduled events, talk about breaking news, plus much
more. We wholeheartedly suggest that you attend club
meetings to voice your opinions on club activities and
decisions as an "active member!"
Your membership
includes a periodic newsletter, dealer discounts, many acres of land for the use of NYTRO members ($10
land use fee not included in membership fees), yearly ATV
raffle fundraising program, informational e-mail network,
and much more!
NYTRO is a family
oriented organization that believes in safety, rider
education, and environmental conservation. We are members of both
NYSORVA (New York State Off Road Vehicle Association)
and the NOHVCC (National Off Highway Vehicle
Conservation Council). We currently have one ATV Safety
Institute instructor serving on our board of directors.
We recommend that you and your family take the time to
attend a safety course.
NYTRO is New York's
premier atv/cycle club with over 600 members in five chapters currently statewide. In its short time, our
Southern Tier chapter has been able to grow and we
currently have almost 100 members and counting. Whether
you are new to the sport, or a seasoned hardcore rider,
join now and get into NYTRO as we strive for a diverse
member base and we will make you feel this is really
your club as much as ours!!
